John has been represented by Koyman Galleries for many years. This special exhibition is an opportunity to enjoy a broad selection of his oils, including some of his large vibrant landscapes.
The show continues till November 1.

The 24×30 oil painting Splendeur d’automne has been donated to the Friends of Huntley Highlands to assist in their fundraising. This organization is working to conserve and protect the Carp Hills area, which is where John did a lot of his painting.

Please join Beth Mlacak at the 2014 Annual Gift of Art Show and Sale. This is the last exhibition for John Mlacak’s paintings, and it is only fitting that be through the Kanata Civic Art Gallery that he helped found. About 90 paintings are in a special display in the meeting room on the ground floor.
The show is on this weekend, Saturday Nov. 15 and Sunday Nov. 16 from 10 am to 5 pm at the John Mlacak Centre in Kanata.
Beth Mlacak participated on John’s behalf in the Ottawa Art Expo from October 24 to 26. Many people stopped to offer condolences and to take copies of the article from the Ottawa Citizen. Mayor Jim Watson gave a very moving testimonial about John during the presentation of the awards. The show was well attended as usual.
