John Mlacak Fine Art

In March 2009, I participated in the four-day Toronto Art Expo with 300 other artists. It is Canada’s largest indoor exhibition for fine art and is held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. I displayed about 20 paintings in my booth.

Many of our invitees attended including some very old and dear friends. Lots of visiting and photo taking occurred. Thousands of people attended the show. I had lots of help setting up and taking down from my son-in-law, brother and sister-in-law.

It was a very successful show and thanks to everyone who helped out.

I will be at the Toronto Art Expo from March 19 to 22.  This is Canada’s largest indoor exhibition for fine art, and I am delighted to be able to participate.

The show takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre:

• Thursday, March 19, 4 to 10 pm, the “Opening Night Gala”
• Friday, March 20, 11 am to 8 pm
• Saturday, March 21, 10 am to 8 pm
• Sunday, March 22, 10 am to 7 pm

I worked with a local Cub troop to teach them about painting. I provided a wide variety of materials and supplies, and some basic instruction. The cubs had a great time making their drawings.
